Thanks to your efforts and the hard work of our mobilization team, we have reached a preliminary agreement that our team recommends to us all. On March 23, 2020, UCES members ratified the tentative agreement with PSAC. The agreement therefore becomes our new collective agreement, which will expire on April 30, 2022. Asians are not COVID-19. COVID-19 does not discriminate along races or ethnic lineages. We had another day of productive negotiation. Negotiations are moving forward. We will see the employer again tomorrow. The alarmism aroused by COVID-19 stems from a xenophobic fear.
Our current Treasurer, Andrée Cété, is on long-term leave and has resigned from her position. There will be an election to fill the vacancy. 2025 local members of the PSAC`s negotiating department. We will vote by electronic vote on the local website 2025. Please provide a brief explanation of no more than 150 words to support your candidacy. We will have it translated and sent to members before the vote. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our allies and to our support of the CULE for the continued support we have shown in mobilizing our subjects during the negotiations. We look forward to continuing to work with our PSAC members, especially in these difficult times and beyond.

The unexpected appearance of a new virus has led to open attacks against East Asians in the schoolyard, in the public space… universities and at work. Companies and their workers suffer from the mass prevention of «Asians» or «Chinese». There`s food! The pizza will be served and the music will be groovy!
